It’s little stupid user function shit like this that drives me crazy, but Gawker is running banner takeovers without a way to close them. So like an idiot, I keep hitting them by accident because I want to hit the links underneath it. Not. Cool. Glacéau & Co, X BOX THAT SHIT.

Well, just hope they're paying based on CPC and know that you just made them pay a little extra with no conversion.
In this case, they have higher Cost Per Close. Heh. Comes off like advertisers trying to shift away from making the opt-out process easy to one of underhanded tactics like this. “So, people don’t read banner ads? They will now.”
