
I’d heard Mamet was going to do Ford spots, but never knew
this one was one of them. Scamp
found it. Now who am I to criticize Mamet. Guy’s got a Pulitzer, I got nothin. Even though I love everything he’s written and directed, this feels so tired, even forced.

He didn't. The creative team wrote in his style (but badly. He just directed.

Even still, his direction can’t save this. The words weren’t even alive on the page, let alone the stage.
