Saw this series of photos from Joni Mitchell* on a CBS Sunday show. (Link is here but turn your audio down first.) Originally a painter, she used a disposable camera to take pictures of random channels on a broken TV. Sure, Photoshop filters might be able to replicate some of this stuff, but it’s kinda cool what effects you can achieve using traditional methods.
