Thinking beyond labels.

Good lucking with that in advertising. At the risk of going to hell, it’s great to focus on those with disabilities who are anything but disabled. (Lead actress Alana Wallace had childhood polio in this Health & Disability Advocates campaign from Wirestone.) The spot gets its point across in a humorous way, but I just find the notion of an ad community spreading the word about this issue of labels more than ironic, given that the industry depends on the very labels depicted in the spot for its survival (in terms of looks, fashion, etc.). Considering too that HR was responsible for hiring all of these people with *issues* int he first place, maybe shitty coffee isn’t the only thing •Marie* has a problem with.
