For the three people out there who prefer a nice glass of the Genny Light, the beer has redone its packaging (image on right) and rolled out yet another variation on the greatest fan idea. (Marketing 101 playbook, Rule No. 43: Every brand has a greatest fan. Find them and use them in your campaign.) Chet Hammerton apparently has been dreaming of visiting the hometown of his beloved Genny—cue Forest Gumo ref—and has his own site with soundbites comes off as harmless enough, but did they really mean to push the Jeff Foxworthy vibe so hard? Not sure.
