So sayeth the IT flock. Actually, it’s a good point after I saw the classic video game Defender reprogrammed as a favicon. Legibility issues aside, I can’t get past the coolness of it though. Who pays attention to favicons, and if they do, even think of them as anything more than a static mini logo? Maybe it’s the *perceived* coolness of it, where I start to think of all the applications for something like this, yet can’t really think of one practical use.
