Rescue Me is a great show, but I have to lean toward Battlestar Galactica.
Fantastic drama, good enough to make my wife forget she's watching sci-fi.
m - I suppose all comics steal, but that's the first time I heard he stole his stuff.
ike - Yeah, I’m an old-school fan of the original, and was skeptical when the new one came out last year, but after watching, I felt they did it right. One thing I hated though was how they changed the opening to the show from last year. It seemed more ominous, more feature-film like.
They also handled the Richard Hatch guest shots nicely.
Now I'm waiting for someone to come out with a new 6 Million Dollar Man and a new Space 1999.
Bill Hicks. The album is called "Philosophy," and Hicks recorded it back when he was friends with Leary.

Then Leary STOLE HIS FUCKING ACT.
It's all there, people. Google that shit up and see what actual comics think of Dennis Leary. And Robin Williams for that matter. Both of whom have been blackballed by clubs for ripping off material.

anon - I'll have to look up that refererence then. If anything, the only neg I would say about Leary was that he basically brought over his whole gang from 'The Job' on ABC and just changed professions and situations to be about firemen, not police.
The show’s funny though not just for him, but the whole ensemble thing.
And GP has that effect on me too, but that's ok. Too many blogs have zero attitude, but not his or copyranter. I think GP has an F-bomb filter built into WordPress that adds one every paragraph if he forgets to.
